Eyewitnesses said that the incident occurred on Sunday evening at the house of the deceased nurse behind Deeper Life Church at Federal Low-cost Estate on Naka Road in Makurdi. Some of the residents also said that the alarm raised by the late Mrs. Amali who retired recently from the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Makurdi as chief nurse attracted them to the scene. They claimed to have heard the deceased woman shouting the name of her killer and that of her housemaid as she begged him to spare them.
