Nigerian govt exposes fake universities in Benue [See list]

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has unveiled a list of 58 illicit universities operating within Nigeria. The Executive Secretary of NUC has officially released this critical information through a public notice prominently featured on the commission’s website.

Of particular concern are institutions claiming affiliation with foreign universities. The NUC’s published list includes the names of these dubious establishments, serving as a stern warning to the public.

Notably, three schools in Benue State have been identified as fake and illegal.

These institutions, mentioned below, are part of the crackdown on unauthorized campuses and affiliates:

1.  Samuel Ahmadu University, Makurdi, Benue State or any of its other campuses
2.  Lobi Business School, Makurdi, Benue State or any of its campuses in Nigeria
3.  North Central University, Otukpo, Benue state.
